Neem Serra

Neem Serra is an iOS and Ruby developer in the St. Louis area. She has a Bachelors in Genomics and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University and a Masters in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Washington — Seattle. She loves to teach programming through Software Carpentry and at a variety of conferences. She also loves speaking about unconscious bias or what it’s like to be a cupcake in a doughnut world. She’s the lead for the Women Techmakers group in St. Louis as well as a member of the Rising Leaders board for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation in St. Louis. In her spare time, Neem loves to bake, read comics, and host craft nights.
