Oliver is a senior software engineer with experience in test-driven development, user experience design and product management. Since 2007, he has have focused on delivering solid, well-tested web and mobile applications using Ruby, JavaScript and related technologies. his clients have been mainly in technology, advertising, and the non-profit sector.
He holds a PhD in cultural anthropology from Berkeley. His research concerns conflict and consensus in collaborative groups. He has a particular interest in applying anthropology's close observation, and interview and ethnography techniques to the user experience design process.
